Canonical opensources Ubuntu/Launchpad Single SignOn Code

After opensourcing Launchpad's Code last year in July, Canonical, the company behind the Ubuntu Project, has decided to opensource the Canonical Identity Provider, announced Jono Bacon. This software is used by the Launchpad Single Sign On and Ubuntu Single Sign on features.

The code is now made available under AGPL3 license. You can download the code and find more information about Canonical Identity Provider at the project's homepage.
